By providing much needed child care, the program allows parents to go to English language classes in addition to a variety of workshops and courses that support both the moms and dads and their children in their transition to their brand-new community. Our devoted child care group works to welcome newcomer children into our safe, nurturing, learning environment utilizing an inclusive design that integrates psychological, physical, and emotional growth.
The kid care personnel group alone represent 14 different languages. The Kid Care Program first emerged as a yard roots child-minding initiative that found a need and filled it.
We provide short term programs that are just a few sessions a year, along with long term programs that run the school year. IRCOM's Child Care Program is available to participants in IRCOM programming or workshops. To learn if Child Care is offered in your program, please contact the Kid Care Program Supervisor at 204-306-9872.
